Artistic Dreams International (ADI) is an interdisciplinary arts-in-education program operating in New York City and Sonora, Mexico since 2011. It is dedicated to creating engaged and inventive future leaders who will spark local-to-global change through the arts. ADI follows curriculum that combines visual and performing arts with civic/social studies and leadership training. It centers art as a means of reflecting and communicating upon current day issues of social justice that require civic action and problem-solving. Programs focus on areas of visual art, chorus, movement/yoga, and art and technology, and are available for ESL and bilingual students in K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.
Arts Education Programming:
ADI shows students that civic action starts with them. Using art to explore global issues, ADI Teaching Artists help students become better readers, writers, creative thinkers, and progressive leaders. Programs meet weekly in-school and/or after-school and are offered as single year 3-year curriculum sequences. Regular communication and art exchanges between students in New York and Mexico help foster curiosity and empathy for children living different lifestyles in other parts of the world.

Adaptation for students with physical disabilities are available. Adaptions to students with communication and cognitive disorders are available.
Supports For English Language Learners
Teaching Artists are bilingual and trained in dual language instruction. All program materials and resources are available in Spanish/English
