Bond Street Theatre is a physical theatre company with a social consciousness, a global view, and a sense of humor. The ensemble initiates theatre projects for education, reconciliation and empowerment through performances, teacher training, youth outreach, and artistic collaboration. Founded in 1976, Bond Street Theatre is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization and an NGO in association with the United Nations DPI.
Arts Education Programming:
Bond Street Theatre is an ensemble of multi-skilled performers dedicated to developing socially relevant theatre works by using the most captivating performance techniques, such as: music, dance, circus arts, magic, masks, puppetry, clowning and other physical and imagistic performance arts. YAP, our Young Audience Program, introduces young people to the world of theatre with an intriguing as well as entertaining physical approach. Our programs are presented in theatres, schools, museums, libraries and festivals, both here and abroad.
